What is a Lola's locker?

A refrigerated self service cabinet near you. Think parcel locker, but chilled and built for cake. Order online, pick a locker at checkout, and your box waits behind a numbered door until you get there.

Refrigerated lockers are still rolling out across the UK, so one may not be near you yet.

In the meantime you can still order for Lola's driver delivery, courier delivery or collection from a store.

Locker questions, answered

How long can my order stay in the locker?

Your order is kept chilled in the locker, and it's ready to collect from the moment it's placed inside. There's no set time limit you need to race against — the locker holds your cake at refrigerated temperature until you're able to come and get it.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes — but we need at least two working days' notice before your chosen delivery or collection date to cancel or amend it. Please contact us by email, live chat or telephone as soon as possible. We'll always do our best to accommodate any requested changes, subject to availability.

What if I can't collect on the day I chose?

Contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate the change, subject to availability. The earlier you let us know, the more options we'll have to move your collection to another day.

Is my cake still fresh when I collect it?

Yes. The locker is refrigerated, and your cake is baked to order — so it goes into chilled storage fresh and stays that way until you pick it up.

Can I collect cupcakes and brownies too?

Yes. Boxes of cupcakes and brownie boxes can both be collected from a locker, alongside your cakes.

Our lockers are mainly in London, the Home Counties and the Midlands. If there isn’t one near you, you can still order for home delivery. Order by 4pm and one of our drivers will bring it chilled straight to your door.

What is a Lola's Locker and how does it work?

A Lola's Locker is a refrigerated locker where you collect your order yourself, at a time that suits you. You order online as usual, choose locker collection at checkout, and we bake and chill your order before placing it in the locker. When it's ready, you get a collection code by email or text — enter it at the locker, the door opens, and you take your cakes home. No queue, no waiting for a delivery slot.

How much does locker collection cost compared with delivery?

Locker collection is free — you only pay for your cakes, with no delivery charge added at checkout. Delivery is priced separately and depends on your postcode, the products in your order and the date you choose; Lola's offers a range of options including Lola's driver delivery, courier delivery, store collection and refrigerated locker collection. So if you're within reach of a locker, it's the cheapest way to get your order.

How quickly can I collect my order after ordering?

You can usually collect within a few hours of your order being ready — we'll send your collection code as soon as it's in the locker. (This timing is a sample for the merchant to confirm.)

How long can my order stay in the locker?

Your order is held in the refrigerated locker for a limited window before it's removed. (This holding window is a sample for the merchant to confirm.)

What if I cannot collect within the window?

If you can't make it within the holding window, your order is removed from the locker and can't be collected after that. Contact us as soon as you know — by email, live chat or telephone — and we'll do our best to arrange an alternative, subject to availability. (The holding window is a sample for the merchant to confirm.)

Can I change or cancel a locker order?
