Offer terms and conditions

Three offers run alongside the Test Kitchen at Lola’s Canary Wharf this October. Two are in store over the launch weekend; the third runs all month and is how you tell us what you thought of what you tried. These terms cover all three.

The promoter is Lola’s Cupcakes Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 05927519, whose registered office is at Hillsdown House 1st Floor, 32 Hampstead High Street, London NW3 1QD (“Lola’s”, “we”, “us”).

1. Golden tickets — the first 200 people each day get a free bake. Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th October.
2. Half price Test Kitchen bakes — once the day’s tickets have gone. Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th October.
3. A £5 voucher for rating a bake — all month. Thursday 1st to Saturday 31st October.

1. Golden tickets — the first 200 people each day get a free bake

What the offer is

On each of the four launch days, the first 200 people to arrive at the Lola’s store inside the Canary Wharf Shopping Centre are given a golden ticket, which they can exchange in store for one free Test Kitchen bake of their choice.

When it runs

Thursday 1st, Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2026, from opening until that day’s tickets have all been given out. Store hours are 08:00 to 20:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 to 18:00 on Sunday.

A fresh 200 tickets are available at the start of each of the four days. Tickets are not carried over from one day to the next, and a ticket can only be used on the day it is given out.

How to get one

Our team will be outside the store from opening, handing out tickets in the order people arrive. Tickets are given out at the store itself, not anywhere else in the shopping centre. One ticket per person. No purchase is necessary and nothing needs to be booked in advance. You do not have to use your ticket straight away — take one and come back later the same day if you would rather.

What you can exchange it for

One Test Kitchen bake, chosen from what is on the Test Kitchen counter at the time. The offer applies to Test Kitchen products only and does not include anything else in store, including our Classics range, drinks or celebration cakes.

Bakes are subject to availability. We bake fresh each morning, and when a product has sold out for the day it is gone — a ticket does not reserve any particular bake.

The rest

Tickets have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or credit, and cannot be sold or transferred. We may refuse or withdraw a ticket where we reasonably believe someone has taken more than one, or is acting in bad faith.

2. Half price Test Kitchen bakes, once the day’s tickets have gone

What you get: 50% off every Test Kitchen product
When: Thu 1 – Sun 4 October, from the moment that day’s tickets run out until closing
Where: In store at Canary Wharf only

What the offer is

Once the day’s golden tickets have all been handed out, every Test Kitchen product is half price in store for the rest of that day.

When it runs

Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th October 2026, from the point that day’s tickets run out until the store closes. It starts again the following morning once that day’s tickets have gone. The offer does not run after Sunday 4th October; from Monday 5th October the Test Kitchen range stays on the counter at its normal price.

Where it applies

In store at Lola’s Canary Wharf only — Canary Wharf Shopping Centre, Canada Place, Unit 5A, 16 to 19 Canada Place, London E14 5EQ. It is not available online, on delivery, or at any other Lola’s store.

What it applies to

Test Kitchen products only. Nothing else in store is included, and that specifically excludes our Classics range, which is on sale as usual at its normal price.

The rest

Half price means 50% off the marked price. The discount is applied at the till. Products are subject to availability, and we may end the offer early on any day if stock runs out.

3. A £5 voucher for rating a bake

What you get: £5 off an order of £10 or more, one per person
When: Thu 1 – Sat 31 October, while the 5,000 vouchers last

What the offer is

Rate at least one Test Kitchen bake on the Test Kitchen page, give us your email address, and we will email you a £5 voucher to spend at Lola’s.

This is not a prize draw and there is nothing to win. Everyone who takes part on these terms gets the same voucher.

Who can take part

Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. Employees of Lola’s, members of their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion may not take part.

How to take part

Taking part is free and no purchase is necessary.

Visit the Test Kitchen page at [PAGE URL], rate at least one bake, and give your email address before pressing “Send to the kitchen”. You do not need to write a comment. One rating is enough.

You must give a real email address that belongs to you and that you can receive mail at. Addresses at disposable or throwaway mail services are refused by the page, and we may cancel a voucher sent to an address that turns out not to be genuine.

Taking part does not sign you up to marketing. The voucher is not conditional on ticking the marketing box, and we only send marketing emails if you tick it. You can unsubscribe at any time.

One voucher per person

Each person can receive one voucher. Rating more bakes, rating the same bake again, or coming back on another day does not earn a second voucher.

We decide whether two entries are from the same person by their email address, ignoring anything after a plus sign and, for addresses that are not case- or dot-sensitive, ignoring full stops. So amy@example.com, a.m.y@example.com and amy+cakes@example.com are treated as one person and receive one voucher between them.

We may withhold or cancel vouchers where we reasonably believe someone has used multiple addresses, automated tools, or any other means to obtain more than one.

When the offer is open

From 00:00 on Thursday 1st October 2026 to 23:59 on Saturday 31st October 2026.

There are 5,000 vouchers available in total, issued in the order ratings are received. Once they have all been issued the offer closes, the Test Kitchen page will say so, and later ratings will not earn a voucher. Ratings are still welcome and are still counted in the results.

We will not shorten the offer or reduce the number of vouchers unless something outside our reasonable control makes it necessary. If that happens we will say so on the Test Kitchen page.

The voucher itself

The voucher is a single-use discount code worth £5 off an order of £10 or more.

It can be used once, in any Lola’s shop and on lolascupcakes.co.uk.

It expires at 23:59 on [VOUCHER EXPIRY DATE], whenever it was issued. The expiry date is shown in the email. Expired codes cannot be reinstated or reissued.

The £10 minimum is the value of the goods, before delivery charges.

The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, sold, or transferred to anyone else, and no change is given.

The voucher can be used alongside other discount codes and promotions, subject to the £10 minimum.

The voucher cannot be used to buy gift cards.

If you return an item bought with the voucher, we refund what you paid. The £5 discount is not refunded as cash and the code cannot be used again.

The voucher is a promotional discount, not a gift card, and it is not electronic money.

If your voucher does not arrive

The email is sent automatically and normally arrives within a few minutes.

If it has not arrived, check your spam or promotions folder first. If it is still missing after an hour, email hello@lolascupcakes.com from the address you used and we will look into it.

We are not responsible for emails that do not arrive because an address was mistyped, a mailbox was full, or a mail provider blocked or filtered the message, but we will reissue a voucher where we can see that something on our side went wrong.

4. Your information

The golden tickets and the half-price offer do not involve us collecting anything about you. This section is about the £5 voucher, which does.

We use your email address to send you the voucher. That is all it is used for unless you separately tick the marketing box.

Your ratings and comments are stored without your email address attached to them. Your address is held only in our email platform, from which it can be deleted on request.

Comments are kept without any name attached, as anonymous product feedback.

5. General — applies to all three offers

By taking part in any of these offers, you agree to these terms.

We may change or withdraw any of the three offers if something outside our reasonable control makes it necessary. If we do, we will say so on this page and, for the in-store offers, in store.

We may withhold, refuse or cancel a ticket or a voucher where we reasonably believe someone is acting fraudulently, using automated tools, breaching these terms, or acting in bad faith.

Allergen information for every Test Kitchen product is available in store — please ask a member of the team before ordering.

We are not responsible for anything lost, delayed or not received because of technical problems outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or affects your legal rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales.
