Lola’s icing makers are required to follow clear recipes in order to prepare and mix a variety of batters from simple vanilla buttercream to complex flavoured creams and ganache.
All Lola’s icing makers are expected to work to the recipes and specifications provided. We follow a strict traceability system which all staff members must follow and all staff are responsible for filling in their respective traceability paperwork. Icing makers are responsible for the cleanliness of their own work area and must work together at the end of the shift to clean the bakery area.
Staff may be required to perform additional duties as and when required by the company.
The shift runs from 4/5am to around midday/1pm, Sunday to Saturday. Please note that hours are flexible depending on volumes on any particular day. Some shifts will be less than 8 hours, and some will be more.
Ideally, you’ll have
- Good communication skills, along with an ability to work well in a team of people
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is sometimes very busy
- You will need to have and present the correct right to work documents for working in the UK to be employed.
- No issues lifting 25KG butter or icing sugars
